Pub News:

Sunday 27th March saw the reopening of two Wirral pubs serving real ale. The Rose & Crown in Bebington reopened after a short closure with new licensees. The winning formula and Thwaites beer range in the pub is unchanged so great news to see the pub reopen. The Argyle Ale House opened as a new business in Argyle Street Birkenhead. With 5 hand pumps serving a variety of real ales this is a very welcome addition to the Birkenhead pub scene. The pub originally known as the Letters has had many different business names in the last few years including Chambers and the Flying Horse; let’s hope this new venture is successful and lasts the course.
