Tiny Rebel's Cwtch crowned Champion Beer of Britain at the Great British Beer Festival.:

Tiny Rebel's Cwtch has been crowned the Best Beer in Britain. The Newport brewed real ale was named the Supreme Champion over a host of other finalists in ten different beer categories, including beers from both small microbrewers and large regional brewers. Cwtch, which is pronounced ‘cutch' and means cuddle in Welsh is said to be a modern version of a traditional bitter, with extra hopping for a more pronounced bitterness and aroma – it’s new world and old world all in one." The Red Fox:

The Red Fox held its first beer festival from 20th to 23rd August in a building to the side of the main pub and had an extensive range of beers form small breweries including several local micros. This was the first time a Brunning & Price pub has held a beer festival and proved so popular they hope to hold similar events in future.
