Situated in the centre of Port Sunlight village built by William Hesketh Lever for the workers at his Sunlight soap factory. The building now contains hotel accommodation, restaurant, restaurant bar and a large public bar. Real ale available only in large public bar but will be brought into the restaurant area (table service only) if the main bar is closed. Quiz night Tuesday. Port Sunlight is popular with tourists containing 900 Grade ii listed buildings, a theatre, museum and the impressive Lady Lever Art Gallery. The old photos were taken in 1981.
