This award is made to the pub which achieves the highest beer scores over the previous year.
These beer scores may be submitted by any CAMRA member from any Branch Beer Scoring and is the same mechanism we use to determine Good Beer Guide entries Good Beer Guide Selection. Essentially this award signifies that its recipient serves the best beer in the best condition anywhere in the Wirral Branch area. This award is presented in late spring/early summer. Unlike other awards there is no limitation on how many consecutive times a pub can win this.
